The Anglo-Australian company BHP Billiton is associated with the metals and mining industry and deals with coal, iron ore, copper, uranium, natural gas, and petroleum. Its mines are located in places like Chile, Columbia, Mexico, Peru, Canada, the United States, and Australia.

2. Rio Tinto, Australia/UK

Rio Tinto, Australia/UK is placed at 2nd position in the list of top 15 global mining companies. It has posted its net income at 8.06 billion US dollars. The company had a market cap of 79.42 billion US dollars in 2020 and published its revenues at 40.7 billion US dollars for 2019.

Founded in 1873, the Anglo-Australian company Rio Tinto is associated with the mining industry and deals with iron ore, aluminum, uranium, titanium, boron, gold, diamond, and copper. Barrick Gold Corp, Canada, with a net income of 4.26 billion US dollars and a market cap of 47.66 billion US dollars is at 4thposition in the top mining companies of 2021. Its revenues for the year 2019 was 9.717 million US dollars.

With a net income of 1.59 billion US dollars in 2020 and revenues at 8.6 billion US dollars in 2019, Shaanxi Coal Industry Co, China is ranked at 8th position in the list of top mining companies of 2021.

9. Yanzhou Coal Mining Co, China
